We have had a fairly good week this week with Cameron with no hospital appointments we have been able to be a normal family and follow a strict routine just how cam likes it !!!
I have just been into his room to find a very distressed cameron on asking him what was the matter he exclaimedhe was rubbish at everything - i treid to ppoint out his strengths but he got more and more angry at me for not knowing what he meant.
Eventually it came out that the boys had been playing a game of chance - Cameron had lost every game !! Its very difficult to explain how it was just luck and not skill involved in game play so my hubby showed him by getting him to choose what hand he repeatdly hide a small toy in he started to laugh as the concept starting to become clear - there was no way to be good at his you just had to guess and hope u were lucky.
Peace is now restored but for how long???
I find little things like this can be so upsetting as he really doesnt understand why his little brother is better nad more skilled definatly at sports and communication than he is - but bless him we are all learning as a family to cop with his meltdowns and how to quickly turn him bk into a happy chap x
