Cameron's appointment today was heart breaking he has had to have his eye stitched shut again so that we can keep his eye in for long enough to form a pocket for his eye to fit into.
It feels like we are going backwards and the process of forcing his eye in and stitching the lids was not a pleasant one to watch and bless him Cameron has had enough of being messed with now and decide to scream and make his eye as scrunched up as possible - not exactly the most cooperative thing he could have done !!
After a trip to his favourite shop and a rather expensive transformers toy secured from mom and dads guilt money he was once again a happy little boy !!
The thing that most people don't realise is that when we return home with Cam and a patch on again my other 3 kids instantly start to panic about what has happened at the hospital - they have to put up with so much upheaval too and they deal so well with it x x x
This Easter holiday is going to be a bit of a write off now as we are going back to the hospital on Monday and in the mean time Cam wont go anywhere in a patch. Oh well we will just have to make the most of it and next half term make a real effort to make up for the rubbish holiday they have had this time.
