The journey was suppose to be 2 hours each way but in true Bish style it took a lot longer. On the way there I was zooming along at a respectable speed in the fast lane when all of a sudden i lose power and the car stalls ??? Arggh i have to get across a busy motorway -3 lanes coasting !! Now not sure if it was skill or just luck but we made it across to the hard shoulder and all quickly piled out of the car to phone the RAC breakdown.
The service was fantastic with even the highways agency giving my mobile a call to see if we were OK !!!
Theres everyone having a nice little sit down on the side of the road !
So by the time the guy comes out to take a look the car starts and we are on our way - only difference being I now drive like a pensioner in the inside lane only moving over when i really have to !!
We had a fab day plenty of smiles all round ! Then the journey home arggghhh.
The short version is that we called for help at just after 9 and arrived home after just after 3 am !! The good bit being that because we got a tow home i still have petrol !!
Theres a silver lining in everything :-)
