Gosh 48 hours can be a long time in our house !!
Cameron can no longer wear his artificial eye as its too uncomfortable for him so it needs to stay out !!
This is an issue for Cam as the eye is the key to his self confidence. Thurs he stayed home with me and we had a great day playing silly games and he let me have loads of hugs !!
Today he decided he wanted to ask his learning support loads of questions about going into school wearing sunglasses - if he got the answers he wanted he would go into school.
Well he broke my heart when declaring he would be Jeff hardy (wwe wrestler) he would pretend it was a wrestling match and if anyone asked about his eye he would ignore them !He then said he was going to give a day at school a try even though he was clearly upset and worried about it !!
He has spent a full day at school and even though the stress and anxiety has took its toll and he slept as soon as he got home it went much better than i thought and he loved the extra attention from his teacher. best of all no one asked him any questions so he is willing to try again on Monday.
My son is so brave and a constant inspiration x x x
