Cams birthday yesterday was fab - he was so happy all day and really saved himself for teh chocolate fountain :-)
I love it when he giggles and yesterday saw him giggling on several occasions.
This week is going to be a very busy week with Cam and also the week we hopefully get answers about the success of the operation. Nervous is the understatement of the year !! Ive tried so hard not to raise my hopes that everything will be ok this time but Im rubbish at negative thinking so know if its not all gone to plan I now have further to fall - why do I do this to myself ????
So this week we have an education welfare officer coming round today to discuss Cams schooling needs and also his attendance rate - currently at 15% for this year and last year he managed to achieve only 37% attendance. Im hoping that this is as straight froward as explaining that he is fighting cancer and school is very much a secondary consideration to his health - fingers crossed. Im also hoping for some kind of home schooling to be set up following this appointment.
Wednesday will see us at the hospital and let us know how the rest of this year will pan out. part of me is still so relieved to still have Cameron here with us that Im sure it wont hit me just yet whatever they say.
Friday Cam has his first physio session to try and strengthen his core weakness to his left hand side.
Oh and add to this that hubby is going back to work for the first time since his operation and this week is going to be busy busy busy.
